allexi-alligator
Allexi Alligator

Deep in the Louisiana marshes there's a diner called Gator's Gap, and the kitchen belongs to Allexi. The menu is the surprising part: not a scrap of meat on it. He turns out tofu chowder and okra gumbo instead, Southern cooking done his own way, and he'll feed anyone who finds their way to his stretch of swamp. Amuseables Peanut once cartwheeled through the middle of lunch service, hopelessly off-route and badly in need of a sit down. He left with a full plate and no bill.

In the flesh he's the longest Jellycat we stock: a full 63cm from snout to tail tip. Soft mottled green fur, a ridged back that runs the whole length of him, four chunky paws and a 14cm sitting height. There are beans through his base, so he lies and lounges rather than flopping into a heap. He drapes across the end of a bed or along a shelf and takes up more room than anyone expects.

Two practical notes before you commit. He's hand wash only, which is unusual for a Jellycat and worth knowing if this is for a small child. And at this length Jellycat ask that he isn't left in a cot or crib.

Allexi Alligator is in stock now at Wrapped! — come and see him at our Canterbury shop on Burgate, where his full 63cm makes rather more sense than it does in a photograph, or order online for UK delivery.

Key features

Dimensions: 14cm x 15cm x 63cm

Sitting height: 14cm

Main materials: Polyester

Inner filling: Polyester fibres and PE beans

Hard eye

Care: hand wash only. Do not tumble dry, dry clean or iron.
