Some fruit just has more personality. Amuseables Cherry arrives in gorgeously deep magenta fur with a friendly stitched smile, topped off with a two-tone stalk and a soft green suedette leaf that’s beautifully embroidered. Best of all are the boots — neat cocoa cord ones that let her sit with her feet dangling over the edge of a shelf like she’s waiting for something interesting to happen.
At 12cm she’s an ideal small-gift size: light enough to post, lovely enough to give on her own, and gently weighted with PE beans so she has that satisfying squidge Jellycat do so well. Made from beautifully soft polyester and cotton and designed in London by Jellycat, this Jellycat Amuseables design is suitable from birth, which makes her as suitable for a new arrival as she is for a grown-up who could do with cheering up.
She sits very happily among Jellycat’s other food characters, so if you’ve already got a macaron or a tart on the shelf, Cherry will feel right at home. These designs are regularly retired and rarely return, so do come and say hello while she’s here. Pop into Wrapped! in Canterbury to meet Cherry in person — we’d love to introduce you.
