Stratto is a blue-sky thinker with a silver-lining outlook, which is a useful disposition in a cloud. In soother form he's been flattened into something far more practical: a small pillowy cloud sitting in the corner of a smooth, neutral blanket, with a face that suggests he's already half asleep himself. Soft, serene and relentlessly calming — the whole point of him is drifting off.
The blanket is a generous 34cm square and the whole thing sits only 7cm high, so it's flatter and lighter than the bunny and bear soothers. That makes it easy to tuck into a pram, a car seat or a changing bag. It has an embroidered eye rather than a hard one, and it's suitable from birth.
It's also one of the greener things Jellycat make: the outer uses new and recycled materials and the filling is recycled fibres. If that matters to the person you're buying for, say so on the card.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a genuine Jellycat?
Yes, Wrapped! is an official Jellycat stockist.
What is a soother?
A soft character joined to a square of blanket. Babies grip the blanket and stroke the plush, which is how soothers end up as such firmly attached comfort objects.
What age is it suitable for?
Suitable from birth. The eye is embroidered rather than hard, so there are no hard parts. Check it over regularly for wear or damage.
How does it compare to the bunny and bear soothers?
Same 34cm blanket, but this one sits at just 7cm rather than 13cm — the cloud is flatter than a head, so it packs smaller and weighs less. Handy for a changing bag.
Is it made from recycled material?
It is — new and recycled materials in the outer, recycled fibres inside.
How do I wash it?
At 30°C. No tumble drying, dry cleaning or ironing, and check all labels when your order arrives. Soothers get loved hard, so being machine washable matters.
Should I buy two?
Plenty of parents do, so one can be in the wash without a bedtime crisis. We allow up to two per customer.
