Butterflies Bookmark

Monarchs, swallowtails, blue morphos and peacock butterflies, laid out across a deep royal blue ground and numbered like specimens in a Victorian collector's cabinet. That's very much Mary Katrantzou's territory. The Greek, London-based designer earned the nickname "Queen of Print" after her Central Saint Martins graduation show in 2008, and has spent the years since turning art and design objects into wearable pattern. Her work has been exhibited at both the V&A and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and in 2024 she became Bulgari's first Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories.
