He’s meant to be fierce. He really isn’t. The Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Lion has the scruffy, tousled fur that gives the whole Fuddlewuddle family its character — warm fudge-coloured and silky soft, with a shaggy amber mane framing the kindest little face you’ve seen on a lion. Give him a squeeze and he squidges beautifully.
At 23cm he’s the classic Medium: a proper companion rather than an ornament, light enough to be carried about and gently weighted with PE beans so he sits up nicely on a bed or a shelf. Designed in London by Jellycat and made from soft polyester with an acrylic mane, this Jellycat lion is recommended from 12 months and makes a brilliant first-birthday or toddler gift.
The Fuddlewuddles have been quietly beloved for years — not a seasonal drop, but a proper classic that people come back for again and again. Come and meet him at Wrapped! in Canterbury — the mane really is worth a ruffle in person.
