Hopscone Luxe Bunny

Regular price £40.00 Sale

Daytime is not Hopscone's shift. She keeps herself scarce until the evening, when the Luxe FM light goes on and she takes over the decks — hop-hip all night, with a weather forecast somewhere around midnight that is very much an estimate. Her cousin Bashful Bunny tunes in religiously, although she'd admit the late-night air horn takes some getting used to. Bartholomew Bear is a fan too, and reckons her playlists are the reason he has any stage presence at all.

She belongs to Jellycat's Luxe line, which is the range to reach for if you care about how a soft toy actually feels. The fur is longer, denser and subtly two-toned, with real weight behind it, and the ears are lined in velvet. She stands 31cm tall and sits at 23cm, with beans through her paws and bottom so she poses properly instead of toppling over.

One thing to flag: unlike most Jellycat soft toys, Hopscone isn't suitable for babies under 12 months, because that long Luxe fur can shed. For anyone over a year she's exceptional.

Hopscone Luxe Bunny is in stock now at Wrapped! — come and handle the Luxe fur at our Canterbury shop on Burgate, because it genuinely doesn't translate to a screen, or order online for UK delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a genuine Jellycat?
Yes, Wrapped! is an official Jellycat stockist.

What age is Hopscone suitable for?
12 months and over. She is not recommended for babies under a year, because the long Luxe fur can shed — which is different from most of the Jellycat range. Check her over regularly for wear or damage.

What makes a Luxe bunny different?
Longer, thicker, gently mottled fur, velvet-lined ears and noticeably more heft than a standard Bashful Bunny. They cost more and they feel it.

How big is she?
31cm x 12cm x 9cm, sitting at 23cm. A good armful, still easy for a child to carry about.

Can she be washed?
Yes, at 30°C. No tumble drying, dry cleaning or ironing, and let her dry fully in the air so the fur keeps its loft. Check all labels when your order arrives.

What's inside her?
Polyester fibres and PE beans, with the beans weighted into her paws and bottom for posing.
