Delicate florals in fresh coral and aqua, drawn from the V&A collection and printed onto tissue soft enough to fold around anything. It's the finishing touch that turns even the simplest parcel into something considered.
About the design
V&A Kilburn Coral Aqua reproduces a design by William Kilburn (1745–1818), the Dublin-born textile designer and botanical illustrator celebrated for his exquisitely detailed floral calicoes. Working in the late 18th century, Kilburn brought a botanist's precision to printed cotton, and his designs were so admired in their day that they were widely copied — helping spark the earliest efforts to protect designers' work.
The original is held in the collection of the V&A — the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Here, in a fresh coral-and-aqua colourway, that same fine botanical detail brings a piece of the collection to something you can wrap with, line a keepsake box, or simply keep for its own sake.
