Legami Gingerbread Christmas Cushion - Super Soft!

Regular price £26.00 Sale

A gingerbread man big enough to lean on. At 30cm square and 18cm deep this is a real cushion rather than a novelty one — thick enough to put behind your back on the sofa and actually feel the benefit.

It's made in Legami's Super Soft! fabric, a stretchy 95% polyester and 5% elastane that's closer to velvet than to the flat fleece most novelty cushions use, over a 100% polyester filling. The difference shows up in two places: it doesn't go bobbly after a fortnight, and the piped icing details hold their shape instead of flattening into the surface.

Shaped cushions tend to be the piece that makes a room look decorated without anyone having to put a tree in it, which is useful in a flat, a bedroom, or on a reading chair. The gingerbread man is cheerful rather than aggressively festive, so it can stay out past twelfth night without looking like you forgot.

At £26 it's the big-ticket item in Legami's Christmas range and reads as a proper present rather than a stocking filler. Come and squash one at our Canterbury shop, 22 Burgate — this is entirely a fabric decision and you need to feel it.

FAQ

How big is it really?
30cm by 30cm, and 18cm deep. That's a standard scatter cushion footprint with more depth than most, so it supports rather than squashes flat.

Is the cover removable?
Legami don't list a removable cover for this one, so treat it as a single piece and surface clean it.

How do I clean it?
Surface clean with a damp cloth.

Will the velvety finish wear?
The elastane blend holds up better than flat fleece, which is the usual failure point on novelty cushions. Keep it out of direct sunlight to stop the colour fading.

Is it just for Christmas?
A gingerbread man reads as cheerful rather than strictly festive, so most people leave it out well into the new year.

Does it make a good gift?
It's the one in this range that works as a main present rather than an extra — particularly for a student room, a first flat or anyone who collects soft things.
