Legami Honeycomb Christmas Tree Decoration - Small

Regular price £6.00 Sale

A whole Christmas tree that folds flat into an envelope. This is honeycomb paper done properly: open it out, bring the two halves together, and a magnetic catch snaps it into a full three-dimensional tree with glittered edges. It takes about two seconds and it's quietly satisfying every time.

The clever part is the magnet. Most honeycomb decorations rely on a paper tab or a bit of sticky tape that gives up after a couple of years; this one closes on itself and will still be doing it next December. At the end of the season it flattens back down to almost nothing, which is a genuine argument for it if your decorations live in the loft in a box that's already full.

It works standing on a shelf, a mantelpiece or a windowsill, or hung up — and because the whole thing is paper it weighs just 69 grams. A row of them along a shelf looks far more considered than the effort involved.

Good for a small flat, a desk at work, or a table setting on the day. See them open and shut for yourself at 22 Burgate in Canterbury, or order online for UK delivery.

FAQ

How does it open?
You fan the honeycomb paper round and the two edges meet, where a concealed magnet holds them together. No tape, no tabs, no fiddling.

Can I use it again next year?
That's the idea. It folds flat and the magnetic closure doesn't wear out the way adhesive tabs do. Store it flat and it'll keep coming back.

Can it stand up on its own?
Yes — it stands on a shelf or table, and it can also be hung.

Is it suitable near candles?
No. It's paper, so keep it well away from candles, fairy lights that run warm, and any other heat source.

Does it make a good gift?
A good small gift or an add-on, and ideal for anyone short of storage space.

Care

  • Paper — keep dry and away from all naked flames and heat sources
  • Fold flat and store without weight on top
  • Decorative item, not a toy
