The softest thing you'll touch all week.
Blur isn't slime and it isn't the stiff therapy putty you remember from school. It's something stranger and much nicer: a light, airy, almost cloud-like silicone putty that feels velvety rather than wet. Sink your fingers in and it gives slowly; pull it and it stretches into ribbons; fold it back on itself and it swallows the seam without a trace.
The real trick is what it doesn't do. Blur never goes gooey, never leaves residue on your hands, and never dries out — so unlike every tub of putty that's ever died at the back of a drawer, this one is still perfect in six months. That makes it a genuinely practical desk object rather than a novelty: something to knead through a long call or a stuck paragraph, with nothing to clean up afterwards.
It arrives in a jar with a twist-off lid, which is a large part of the appeal — it looks calm and considered on a desk or a bedside table rather than like a toy someone left out. Six shades to pick from: Twilight, Forest, Lagoon, Citron, Blush and Clementine. There's a tester open in the Canterbury shop, and it's one of those things nobody puts down on the first go.
Recommended for ages 8+. WARNING: NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS. SMALL PARTS — CHOKING HAZARD.

FAQ
Is this a genuine Speks product?
Yes — Wrapped! is an official stockist.
What age is it suitable for?
We recommend it for ages 8 and up. The packaging carries a warning that it isn't suitable for children under 3 due to small parts.
Is it sticky or messy?
No. That's the whole point of it. Blur is dry to the touch, leaves nothing on your hands and won't pick up fluff the way cheaper squishy fidgets do.
Will it dry out like other putties?
No. Keep the lid on between uses and it stays exactly as it is.
Can I mix the colours?
You can, but you can't unmix them — and the colours are a big part of why people buy a second jar. Keep them separate unless you're committed.
How is it different from the Gump stress balls?
Gump is a sealed ball you squeeze; Blur is loose putty you knead, stretch and shape. If you like working material with your fingers rather than squeezing something in your palm, Blur is the one.
Is it a good gift?
Excellent — it's the one we hand to people who say they don't like fidget toys. The jar makes it feel like a proper present rather than a pocket-money toy.
