About the design
Spring Picnic features the artwork of Jill Barklem (1951–2017), the beloved English author and illustrator best known for her Brambly Hedge books. First published in 1980, the series follows a community of mice living in the roots and hedgerows of the English countryside through the turning seasons, brought to life in her famously intricate, tender illustrations.
