Wildflower Hare Tissue Paper

A hare made entirely of wildflowers, printed onto tissue soft enough to fold around anything. It's the finishing touch that turns even the simplest parcel into something considered.

About the design

What makes Helen Ahpornsiri's artwork extraordinary is how it's created — every image is composed from real, hand-pressed plants. Based in East Sussex, she grows, forages and presses ferns, wildflowers and seaweed — much of which she grows in her own garden — then arranges each pressed specimen into intricate designs. Here, that painstaking technique forms a hare from a whole meadow's worth of blooms and foliage.

Her practice is guided by a simple principle: always to contribute more than I take. That original artwork is then printed onto Wildflower Hare's soft tissue — something you can wrap with, line a keepsake box, or simply keep for its own sake.
